By creating an account or using LogBook, you agree to these terms. LogBook is a product of Syed Systems.
The Service
LogBook is a course management platform for university professors. It provides tools for managing grades, attendance, and student communication. The service includes offline functionality that syncs when internet is available.
Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You must not share your account with others
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Acceptable Use
You agree to use LogBook only for legitimate educational purposes. You must not:
- Use the service to store data unrelated to your courses
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
- Distribute malware or harmful content through the service
Your Data
You own all the data you enter into LogBook (courses, grades, student records). We do not claim ownership of your content. You grant us a license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service.
Service Availability
We aim to keep LogBook available at all times, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The offline-first architecture means you can continue working even if our servers are temporarily unavailable.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
