Data Isolation
Each professor's data is completely separated. You cannot accidentally access another professor's courses or students.
Encrypted in Transit and at Rest
All data is encrypted when it travels between your device and our servers, and when it is stored.
Access Controls
Only you can see your courses. University admins can only see aggregate data, not individual grades.
Regular Backups
Your data is backed up regularly. If anything goes wrong, we can restore your information.
Our Security Practices
- Authentication is handled by industry-standard infrastructure
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
- Session tokens expire after 1 hour and are automatically refreshed
- All API endpoints validate authorization before returning data
- Database-level security rules ensure data isolation between users
